On December 25, NKR President Bako Sahakian had meetings with members of the NKR NA fractions.

According to the NKR President Office’s Central Information Department, Bako Sahakian positively estimated the working atmosphere that existed in the Parliament. According to him, active discussions in the NA on the draft budget 2008 are the best proof to it.

The President particularly noted the importance of open and frank discussions of issues that interested the NKR public, as well as the negative phenomena. In this connection, the President emphasized that only such discussions gave an opportunity to make optimal decisions that created serious prerequisites for ensuring the state’s progress.

Agreements on holding similar meetings more often were reached at the meeting with the fractions.

The meeting participants also dwelt on the issues concerning the state's home and foreign policy.
