On 16 April President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan participated in the conference titled “International and legal guarantees of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement” organized at the republic’s National Assembly.

The President underlined in his speech that the conflict settlement within the framework of international and legal guarantees first of all predetermines a peaceful solution, which also corresponds to the position of official Stepanakert. At the same time Bako Sahakyan stated that return to the past was impossible and it was necessary to think about the future.

Chairman of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Haroutyunyan, minister of the Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, representatives of state, scientific and public sectors of the two Armenian states partook at the event.
