Politics: Stepanakert for peaceful resolution of Karabakh conflict - president

President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan participated in “International and legal guarantees of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement” conference organized at the National Assembly, NKR presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his speech Bako Sahakyan thanked the organizers of the event. The President underlined that the conflict settlement within the frameworks of international and legal guarantees first of all predetermines a peaceful solution, which also corresponds to the position of official Stepanakert. Sahakyan stated that return to the past was impossible and one should think only of the future.

Chairman of the Artsakh Republic National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Haroutyunyan, Minister of the Diaspora Hranoush Hakobyan, representatives of states and other officials attended the meeting.
