President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Robert Bradtke of U.S., Igor Popov of Russia and Bernard Fassier of France.

The meeting focused on the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional processes.

Touching upon the issue of sniper withdrawal from the line of contact, President Sahakyan considered it among the pivotal components of confidence building measures and added that it would have a positive impact on the negotiation process.

Bako Sahakyan once again introduced the position of official Stepanakert underlining that it was impossible to expect any drastic change in the negotiation process without direct participation of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic in all stages of the negotiations.

The meeting was also attended by Artsakh Republic Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosyan, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials, Artsakh President’s press office reported.
