On 9 November President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in the city of Geneva senior Vice President of the "Izmirlyan" foundation Jacques Sarkissian.
Issues related to the realization of different programs in our republic were discussed during the meeting.
The Head of the State underlined that together with humanitarian programs it was also necessary realize investment programs in Artsakh which would have qualitatively another impact on the socio-economic development of the NKR. In this context a number of concrete suggestions and projects were discussed during the meeting.
On the same day President Sahakyan met head of the Armenian General Benevolent Union's (AGBU) Swiss branch Talin Avagyan.
The President noted that AGBU had a substantial contribution to the development of Artsakh and underlined that cooperation with this organization was important from the socio-economic viewpoint and for strengthening the inter-Armenian ties.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan and head of the central information department of the office of the NKR President David Babayan partook at the meetings.
