YEREVAN.- Armenian students will have an opportunity to get education in Slovakia.

The Universities of Goris (Armenia) and Stepanakert (Nagorno-Karabakh) signed an agreement with the University of Skalitsa (Slovakia) to organize education of the students in Europe.

The tuition fee will be minimal and in some cases will be paid by funds, said President of the Forum of Armenian Associations of Europe Ashot Grigoryan.

According to him, the agreement reached between the educational institutions of Slovakia and Nagorno-Karabakh is the first step for recognition of the Republic.

He also informed of the meetings of Slovakia’s delegation with NKR leadership. On Tuesday the delegation headed by former Speaker of Slovak National Council Frantisek Miklosko will be received by the Armenian Speaker.
