Politics: Karabakh acting FM presents Karabakh conflict current stage to Slovakian representatives

STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh acting FM Vasili Atajyan received on Monday Slovakian delegation representatives headed by the Slovakian first Speaker František Mikloško.

Atajyan presented briefly the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) history, the conflict roots and the current stage of the peace process negotiations and the disposition of the official Stepanakert, ministerial press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Regarding the peace process, the acting FM stressed non-constructive disposition of the official Baku, which hampers the negotiation process. He believes first it is necessary to recognize the independent status of Nagorno-Karabakh to achieve a progress.

Atajyan touched upon regional processes, humanitarian issues on Karabakh conflict settlement and the current situation in various spheres of life in Karabakh. Delegation members made offers on realizing projects in Karabakh.
