NKR President Arkady Ghukasian received the delegation of the ROA Cassation-, Appeal- and Economic Courts. Issues related to the improvement of the judicial-legal system of Nagorno Karabagh, as well as further consolidation of relations between the corresponding structures of NKR and Armenia in this sphere were discussed.
During the meeting, the delegation leader, Chairman of the ROA Cassation Court Hovhannes Manukian informed the President that a cooperation agreement had been signed in Stepanakert, according to which the years-old efficient cooperation between the judicial systems of Armenia and NKR had obtained a legal basis. According to Mr. Manukian, in the frameworks of the agreement, they plan an exchange of professional information, provision of legal and consultative assistance, support of the NKR judicial system in training and re-training juridical staff, and improving the qualification of representatives of the juridical corps.
In his turn, NKR President Arkady Ghukasian noted that the cooperation between the judicial structures of the two Armenian states would be mutually useful and active.
