ARTSAKH WAR VETERAN URGENTLY NEEDS
KIDNEY REPLACEMENT SURGERY

Disabled Artsakh war veteran Mikhail Bakhtamian urgently needs kidney replacement surgery.  Bakhtamian suffered a head wound on the battlefield in 1994 and underwent a surgery.  His chronic kidney failure began in 1997 and despite a series of treatment sessions in Yerevan, has deteriorated seriously since then.  Doctors say a kidney replacement surgery is critical.  The surgical operation, which can be performed in Moscow, would cost $70,000 U.S. dollars.  Bakhtamian's family, which cannot afford the cost, is appealing to the members of Armenian communities in the United States to help sponsor the surgery.

Donations may be transferred to a special account # 223012074496 that has been opened in ArtsakhBank for this purpose.
