A Word from the Prime Minister
Dear Friends and Compatriots:
The Nagorno Karabakh Republic, Artsakh is a young, but a reliable member of the international community. By immense sacrifice and efforts we could defend our freedom, overcome the war consequences and build a stable and democratic state with well-functioning state institutions, active civil society and capable armed forces. For almost two decades Artsakh has been showing a sustainable economic growth, which positively impacts on the people’s living standards. Radical structural reforms created favorable conditions for market economy, business environment and development of the private sector in the republic.
The NKR Government remains adherent to continued political and economic reorganization in order to adapt our young democracy to world trends and challenges. We believe that accountability, transparency and effectiveness of the NKR central and local administration bodies remain unaltered requirements for our continued success.
Artsakh authorities pay a special attention to ensuring the universal rights and freedoms for the people. And today we are confident to say that Artsakh’s achievements in democracy and human rights ensure a deserved life for our heroic people and provide stability necessary for a comprehensive development of the republic.
On behalf of the Karabakh people and authorities, I urge our American friends to visit Artsakh and actively engage in the mutually beneficial economic development of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
