President Ghoukasian Offers Condolences to President
Bush,
American People on Terrorist Attack

The President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Arkady
Ghoukasian today joined the world leaders in offering condolences to
U.S. President George W. Bush and the American people following Tuesday's
terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, DC.
The message delivered today to the White House said:
"We are deeply shocked by the unprecedented terrorist attack, in
which thousands of innocent lives have been lost. We strongly condemn
this horrific crime; it challenges not only the United States of America,
but also the entire civilized world. On behalf of the people of the
Nagorno Karabagh Republic and myself personally, I offer heartfelt condolences
to all Americans and, especially, to the families of the victims. I
wish you strength in overcoming this terrible tragedy."
